RTI International’s Addressing Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting Training and Technical Assistance Project (AFTTAP) team is thrilled to host a “Roundtable on Systems Change to Address FGM/C Perspectives from State and Municipal Coalitions” virtually on Friday, June 23rd from 12:00pm EST- 2:00pm EST.
Preventing and responding to female genital mutilation and cutting (FGM/C) requires effective collaboration across systems. RTI International, a non-profit research and training and technical assistance firm, is pleased to host a roundtable featuring state and municipal coalitions and working groups from across the United States that work to address FGM/C. This roundtable will feature coalitions from Washington State, Connecticut, New York City, Minnesota, Greater Los Angeles, and Massachusetts.
This roundtable virtual event will include:
- A lightning round for each coalition or working group to explore their groups’ origins, goals, successes, challenges, and future activities;
- a panel dialogue; and
- an audience question and answer session.
