The End FGM European Network is a European umbrella organisation of sixteen organisations across 11 European member states, working to ensure sustainable Europeanaction to end female genital mutilation.

UNITED KINGDOM - Orchid Project  – Orchid Project has a vision of a world free from female genital cutting.

UNITED KINGDOM - Dahlia Project – Dahlia’s Project is a support group for women who have undergone Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM). The project aims to provide a safe space for women and girls to unpack the effects of FGM.

North America

UNITED STATES: Asian Women’s Shelter Crisis Line for Survivors of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting: Sahiyo has collaborated with Asian Women’s Shelter (AWS) to enable their crisis line to take calls from survivors of FGM/C. The AWS crisis line is open to FGM/C survivors and impacted communities. Number: 1-877-751-0880 | Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM PT / 12 PM - 8 PM ET

UNITED STATES - US End FGM/C Network is a collaborative group of survivors, civil society organizations, foundations, activists, policymakers, researchers, healthcare providers, and others committed to promoting the abandonment of female genital mutilation or cutting (FGM/C) in the U.S. and around the world.

CANADAEnd FGM Canada Network is a human rights organization that exists for the purpose of promoting, upholding and enforcing the human rights of girls and women residing in Canada to be protected from the practice of female genital mutilation or cutting (FGM/C), to end FGM/C in Canada and worldwide, and to support the survivors of FGM/C in Canada

CHICAGO - forma offers mental health clinical services to women adversely affected by FGM/C, and also provides psychoeducational outreach, advocacy and awareness training to hospitals, social service agencies, universities and the community at large. We also facilitate on-going survivors’ support group that can help educate and challenge the traditional belief systems that perpetuate this practice.

MICHIGAN -  The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) : This page explains the basics of FGC and provides access to resources from law enforcement, child welfare professionals, healthcare and more.

VIRGINIAGlobal Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation was founded on the principles of ending violence and injustices against women and girls. The mission of the organization is to empower women and girls through education to eradicate gender-based violence, with special emphasis on female genital mutilation/cutting.

NEW YORK - NYC FGM is a multi-sectoral coalition of organizations, individuals, and government agencies committed to ending the Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) in New York.  They have joined together to create legal, socio-cultural, educational, and medical strategies to raise awareness, to prevent the practice, and to support survivors.

WASHINGTON -  FGM/C – An educational toolkit for providers and survivors is the product of a unique collaboration between RAHMA, a Washington, D.C.-based advocacy group, and the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University. The toolkit provides the latest information on female genital mutilation and cutting (FGM/C) and is an online resource for survivors of FGM/C as well as the health care providers addressing its consequences.

Asia 

Asia Network to End FGM/C The Asia Network to End Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) is a collaborative group of civil society actors working across Asia to end all forms of FGM/C. We do this by connecting, collaborating, and supporting Asian civil society actors and survivors to advocate for an end to all forms of FGM/C in the region.
