Our session will address the complexities of FGM/C, exploring its relation to other gender-based violence and the critical role of data, research, and community engagement in developing effective support and prevention strategies. We will also take a deeper look at the prevalence of FGM/C specific to Washington and surrounding metropolitan areas.
